What are the system requirements?
A:
In order to use the full features of the itSMF online conference you will require Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Windows Media Player and a broadband internet connection. Please note that the platform does not currently support Firefox or Safari browsers.
We suggest you test your system ahead of the event to ensure you can participate. Please note that if you are viewing from behind a corporate firewall you may need to ask your IT administrator whether streaming media is blocked. Test your system here

I registered for the event, how do I login?
A:
On the day of the live event, login approximately 10 minutes before the event start time. Be sure to use your itSMF online conference user id and password at http://itsmf.brighttalk.com.

Why can’t I register for the event?
A:
The first time you participate in an itSMF online conference, you will need to register at http://itsmf.brighttalk.com. The user id and password are specifically for the itSMF online conference.

Q:
What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
A:
To request a new password, please click on the “Log in” link in the upper right hand corner of the page and click the “Request new password” button. Please note that the password email reply may be blocked by your personal SPAM filters or those set by your IT Department. Should you not receive an email from itsmf@BrightTALK with your password, please check you SPAM box or contact your IT Department to unblock this email address.

Q:
How do I change my password or update my contact details?
A:
To change your password or contact details, log onto the site using your current user name and password. Once you are logged in, click the “Profile” link in the upper right hand corner of the site. Once in the profile area, click on the “Edit” button and enter your new details or password into the appropriate text box then hit “Submit”.

Q:
I am very interested in the event topics, but I cannot attend the live day. May I watch it later?
A:
Yes, the entire program will be archived and available within 72 hours of the completion of the live presentation. You must register for the online conference in order to be able to download and view the archive. Please log into the site at http://itsmf.brighttalk.com and click the RECORDED EVENTS in the Menu options.

I like to print the presentation materials and take notes. Can I do this?
A:
Yes. On the day of the event, a link will be activated on the player window allowing you to download the presentation.

What call-in phone number do I use?
A:
A call-in number is not required for the itSMF online conference. The audio is streamed through your speakers, so make sure they're on when you log in.
